Since August 2006, Purple Ribbon Council has operated with no full time salaried staff. Our prevention projects, outreach efforts and awareness events are led by volunteers in communities across the U.S. Dollars raised through foundations, individuals and corporations help to offset the cost of our awareness, education and empowerment activities, as well as go to support our Purple Ribbon Fund for Children™ of domestic violence homicide.
